Thin Air Canvas
We are now entirely devoted to making your NibbleNet ® better and better so we no longer do the custom work seen in this section of the website. We thought you might like to see some of the history and decades of skill and experience that go into every NibbleNet ® we make.
Thin Air Canvas, Inc. originated in Coconut Grove, Florida in the late 1970's. We have fabricated everything interior and exterior for yachts, built and designed awnings and enclosures systems for residences, resorts and restaurants. We have also fabricated custom umbrellas, cushions, cabanas, patio and pool furnishings. Thin Air Canvas designed and built hundreds of windsurfing harnesses and designed a 470 One-Design sailing harness used by the US team in the Olympics. We designed a Coast Guard approved car restraint system for the Fisher Island Ferry. Thin Air Canvas has won IFAI international achievement awards for design and projects. We have traveled to Europe and South America as well for large yacht projects.
Deb Rusden is the owner and president of Thin Air Canvas, Inc. Her eye for design and attention to detail have made all of her projects a work of art. Whatever hobbies or passions she has in life translates over to her work. All of Thin Air Canvas' work is custom, all work is done on premise by our hands. This always ensures the best of quality.
Thin Air Canvas also includes a woodworking shop to meet customer needs. The availability of so many new designer fabrics have made custom canvas endless for design ideas.
